At the age of 12, I didn't know what direction I wanted to go with my life. Sports and music consumed my everyday world like most kids my age growing up in Fort Lee, NJ until my older brother and mentor Shawn Escoffery handed me his Minolta Riva. My interest in photography evolved into a love for motion film at Temple University where I received my BA in Film and Media Arts in 2005. Over the years extensive travel has shaped my approach to cinematography. The Colors and Textures of Africa, the symmetry and simplicity of Japanese Wabi Sabi, the respect for team work and hustle from the island of Jamaica helped sustain my career in film and television for 10 years.
